Words can make a difference says Peter De Fazio, so lets fuel clarity + not stop here, we have a `plan to do it together..

I add Peter`s response to wanting equality for diplomatic communications with Iran + all, as I welcome all to come together to link sharing solutions to end our weapons of war + the false green exploitation`s
+ share solution oriented ideas that work, which we propose our restructuring `plan below to trigger your thought.

 Humanity, Please wake up,
by getting a real job fixing the dysfunctions in every local community, all end up co_evolving into meaningful careers, by simply sharing great resources we have now available working with our students coming into our communities with us, focus direct together as we share what works, linking, helping all to
restore one`s natural grown local food sovereignty for starts..

  check out Slow Food + The Eatable Schoolyardto see how many are do_in, + these are a few of many movements linking;

Being fueled by what sustains us is how we each then proceed with the local `plan to regain our environmental balance for genetic bio-diversity, as our best medicine, sustaining the life that sustains all of us, as we link.

Many in US have no clue of how the natural world survives from healthy ecosystems that many make a priority to maintain vs. interfere, as they use wild foods/fish + herbs for medicine. yet in every community people are interfering without the support of locals, holding people accountable locally + afar.

example of mother earth`s offerings as many simply live, yet many don`t even look into our foreign relations as sharing human family experiences that we all can be triggered by.

COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE: Developing Tribal Biodiversity Registers as the Basis for Tribal bio cultural Protocols in Iran

Resource: Adapted from material provided by CENESTA

Iran has approximately 700 tribes of Indigenous nomadic pastoralists. Most are engaged in vertical migration over their ancestral territories, including summering grounds in the highlands, wintering grounds in the lowlands, and the migratory routes and resting stops connecting the two. About a dozen tribes recently decided to develop tribal bio cultural protocols in order to protect themselves from unwanted outsiders taking resources, particularly highly valuable medicinal plants, from their territories without their consent.

The tribes initially set out to describe the diversity of their domesticated livestock, including sheep, goats, camels, horses, cattle, and donkeys. They soon decided that it was first necessary to collect and identify the hundreds of plant species that provide the foundation for their livestock and livelihoods. With the support of professional botanists, they found that many of the plants species, perhaps up to 20 per cent, were unknown to science. However, the tribal elders knew them and their properties, names, and many uses such as food, medicine, livestock feed, or industry.

They decided to elaborate tribal biodiversity registers and are currently exploring the feasibility of setting up a tribal herbarium as a reference base for identifying species and their status in the territories where they are found. Using digital cameras provided by a supporting NGO, they have learned to follow standard procedures to set up a sample sheet for each species or variety collected with the help of the modern botanists. Hundreds of species of plants have been collected so far by these expert community ethno-botanists.

According to the Indigenous nomadic communities, the work must be done over the entire tribal territory and over a long enough period of time. In the Iranian context, they recommend that it includes collection in the summering grounds, in the wintering grounds, and over the entire migration route in between each (in essence, four times each year). This should be done two or more times over subsequent years. It must also be done in a large enough area, covering a significant number of tribal territories. Next, the tribes plan to document wildlife and domesticated plants and animals to complete their tribal biodiversity registers.

The collection and identification of biodiversity should not be seen as a mere study but should form the basis for improving the conservation of nature in the tribal territories. It can also help identify practical ways that the nomadic communities can sustainably use and benefit from resources identified as having economic value. While tribal biodiversity registers and bio cultural protocols are vital in their own right, the process to document and develop them has engendered strong feelings of cooperation, mutual support, and solidarity.

In US as well the world, many people feel over regulated + can no longer even take part, in what once sustained them when they did.

      Ask yourself??

Do you hunt, fish, or collect wildlife species?  (including mammals, birds, fish, insects, reptiles, and amphibians)
Do you have specific names for them in your local language? If appropriate, some examples could be provided.
What are they used for? How do you obtain and use them?
Are they migratory or restricted to a certain area?
What roles or values do they have in your community (for example, social, cultural, spiritual, environmental, economic, and political)?
Are the wildlife species or local populations in danger of becoming threatened or extinct? If so, what are the factors leading to this? How are they currently being or could they be addressed?
What types of natural resources do you use? What are they used for?
Which are most important to your community? Why?
What are the main cycles (for example, seasonal, temporal, cultural, or spiritual)?
Where are they?
How are they used and managed? Who is involved?
What types of customary laws or values regulate the management of different resources?
What traditional knowledge, innovations and practices are involved?

End CENESTA sharings..

people in many local communities, globally has lost this sense of how to `boon with our natural world + don`t even ask these questions. when yet mother earth gives us an abundance of good fortune, yet sadly is being misused/abused + it is time with our good tools to stop it. as we apply sound science that all tongues can share as common sense.

so we ask you to open your hearts + minds to mother earth as we share tools to balance our local ecological sustainable working communities + harmonize with our human family over what sustains us all.

please see email from Congressman Peter De Fazio + I ask all of you to contact your legislators/Barack + let this trigger you to rethink with them;

Dear Mrs. Lincoln,

Thanks for your message supporting a diplomatic and peaceful resolution to Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons.  I appreciate hearing from you.  We are in complete agreement.

I strongly support diplomacy and believe the United States should explore every conceivable alternative to resolving our differences with foreign nations before engaging in armed conflict.

Most recently, I joined dozens of my colleges in the House of Representatives in sending President Obama a letter (the "Dent-Price letter") to urge him "to pursue the potential opportunity presented by Iran's recent presidential election by reinvigorating U.S. efforts to secure a negotiated nuclear agreement."

I have also written to President Obama encouraging his administration to "pursue bilateral and multilateral engagement with Iran" and reiterating support for "robust, sustained diplomacy [as] the best option to resolve our serious concerns about Iran's nuclear program, and to prevent a costly war..."

During consideration of last year's defense authorization bill I voted in support of an amendment by Rep. Barbara Lee to appoint a Special Envoy to Iran to ensure that all diplomatic avenues are pursued to avoid a war with Iran.  The amendment was defeated 77-344.

I also supported an amendment by Rep. John Conyers to require the Director of National Intelligence to submit to the congressional intelligence committees a report containing an assessment of the consequences of a military strike against Iran.  The amendment was passed unanimously.

Finally, I have refrained from supporting resolutions and legislation that would change long-standing U.S. policy by moving the so-called redline for U.S. military action against Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons to acquiring nuclear weapons "capability" – or the ability to produce enough weapon-grade uranium.  While this sounds benign, the language has significant policy implications and would move the U.S. closer to military confrontation.

A preemptive military strike against Iran could lead to a regional war in the Middle East and attacks against U.S. interest.  Even worse, such a strike would likely compel Iran to abandon the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, eject international inspectors, and rapidly pursue a nuclear deterrent.

The Obama administration should utilize all available tools of diplomacy to resolve the crisis over Iran's nuclear program and to prevent another costly war in the Middle East.

I am hopeful that previous sanctions passed by Congress and the diplomacy skills of President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry will bring about a peaceful resolution to this matter.

Again, thanks for writing and please keep in touch.

 Sincerely,

Rep. Peter DeFazio
Fourth District, OREGON

Thank you Peter + all, as we share with Barack + few more..

Please we can do much more together..

Take a review of how we are reaching out to gain support for solutions to be understood + please share + do what you can do. for we feel a platform to link us, sharing more story of sustainable ways can trigger us to better rethink locally, as we ask our self, what effects we leave + how we interfere + how we can reflect with others to understand + make change.

we all can become a local, global + beyond responsible participant.
